Hi Lola, I'm glad to do this interview
Can you introduce yourself to the visitors of cinema-movietheater.com?
Hi! I’m Lola Raie, an American Actress from Los Angeles,Ca. At the age of 5
I landed my first commercial for Office Depot. I have done numerous commercials and print work over the years.
I’ve landed roles in Amazon Prime’s “Creative Galaxy” and FX’s “Legion” and booked roles in short films. Recently, I got to work on Netflix’s family movie “Yes Day” starring Jennifer Garner and Jenna Ortega and Disney+’s “Cheaper by the Dozen” starring Gabrielle Union Zach Braff.I play the role of Talia.
My newest project is the Animated feature “Ainbo”, where I voice the Adventurous, Brave, character Ainbo.
What do you look for when you read a script ?
I love a good character and a good storyline. My favorite kind of story is a drama and suspense. And I always love a good murder mystery.
How did you prepare for your roles as actress?
I first read the script and then start researching the show or movie.
Then I just really dive into who I want the character to be. Becoming a character is way more than just memorizing the lines. I love bringing a new character to life.
You played a wide range of roles, Is there a role that you prefer more than the others ?
I really love all the roles I’ve been lucky enough to play, but I think my favorite so far was Talia in Cheaper By The Dozen.
When and why did you choose to be an actress?
I’ve always loved performing, whether it be singing or performing scenes from my favorite movies and tv shows .
When I was 4, I did my first community theater play and then another one right after.
I was then introduced to my first manager and then it just all happened from there. I honestly just love performing.
Your voice the lead character in Ainbo (2021) Ainbo (voice),
What do you look for in a character when you do a voice?
I love a strong character with a fun personality. Ainbo was really fun, and ever since I was little, I wanted to voice some type of princess. It was a plus the she was a warrior princess!
How do you identify and find the voice of an animated character?
I first read the character description, then put my own spin on it. I make a character someone I would of liked to watch when I was little.
To do the voice of an animated character, is it more difficult than to be an actress in a movie ?
Both are challenging in their own way. In animation, your voice has to really show the emotions the character is going through.
A movie actress has to be more organic when on screen and everything has to seem real. I love doing both!
What club of American Football are you fans of and why?
The Los Angeles Chargers! I’ve gone to several games and Rashawn Slater was nice enough to give me a signed jersey and he’s a super nice guy!
