Hi Alisha-Marie, I'm glad to do this interview.

Can you introduce yourself to the visitors of cinema-movietheater.com?
Hello! My name is Alisha-Marie Ahamed and I play Wayne Pascal in Alert: Missing Persons Unit on Fox.
I’ve always been passionate about storytelling and love bringing complex characters to life on screen.
It’s a pleasure to be speaking with you!

What did you like about your character Wayne Pascal? And are you a computer expert like Wayne Pascal?
Wayne Pascal is such a fun and interesting character to play and one that has a huge piece of my heart.
She’s a true problem solver and a brilliant tech expert who has bite, a great sense of humour, and a unique way of looking at things.
I’ve really enjoyed exploring her mix of intelligence and quirkiness! As for being a computer expert, I have always had a love and interest in technology and while I’ve learned a few things along the way I can’t say I’ll be hacking into any systems anytime soon!
To be honest my tech usage these days tends to be geared more towards supporting my love of photography and online gaming.

What did you like when you read the script of the TV series?
I was immediately drawn to the fast-paced, emotional storytelling. Alert: Missing Persons Unit isn’t just about solving cases - it’s about the people involved, their struggles, and the impact of these disappearances on families.
The script had a perfect balance of action, suspense, humour, and heartfelt moments, which made it really compelling.

How did you prepare for your role?
I did some research on cybersecurity and hacking to understand Wayne’s world better. I also worked on her mannerisms and personality to make her feel authentic.

On set, I then try to throw away the complexity of what she’s doing; since she’s so proficient in this space she makes everything look incredibly easy because for her it is so second nature.

Her comfort zone is working with tech; she knows how it works and how it responds to her.

It’s the human-centred moments we see her get more affected and thrown off her centre.

Are you watching during the broadcast?
Yes! It’s always exciting to see the final product and how everything comes together.
There’s a chance I’ll get to experience our Season 3 premiere with some castmates which is just the sweetest feeling to be able to share those moments with them again!

How is the shooting with Scott Caan, Dania Ramirez, Ryan Broussard, Adeola Role, and the rest of the cast?
The cast is beyond amazing! I feel so incredibly fortunate to work with each and every one of them.
The main cast (Scott, Dania, Ryan, and Adeola) are not only incredibly talented but also wonderful to work with and so generous with their wealth of knowledge and care.
There’s a real sense of camaraderie on set, a lot of fun between takes, and true friendships outside of work.
It makes the work that much more meaningful and enjoyable. I also have to say we have the greatest day-players and background cast, they all truly blow me away everyday with their skill, work ethic, and just how down to earth the entire set is. It’s really a dream come true.

Where is the show shot?
We film in Vancouver, which provides an incredible backdrop for the series. The production team works so hard and does an incredible job of making every location feel immersive and authentic.

How long did the shooting for one season take?
Each season takes several months to film. It’s a demanding schedule, but the people we’re surrounded by and the final results make it all worth it.

When and why did you choose to be an actress?
Acting has always been a passion of mine but it certainly hasn’t always been my profession or a path that I necessarily thought was possible for me. Truthfully though, it was what I always dreamed of doing. I’ve loved this medium and performing since I was young, whether it was in school plays or just reenacting movie scenes at home in my head. I knew I wanted to pursue it professionally when I realized how powerful storytelling can be - the way it has the ability to entertain, inspire, and connect people. I had always had an element of storytelling in any job I’ve had but the truest expression of it for me has always been motion pictures and it feels so surreal at times to know that I’m now doing what a younger version of myself always dreamed of doing.

What is your next challenge/project?
I’m always looking for roles that challenge me in new ways. Whether it’s film, TV, or even a different genre, I’m excited and open to exploring diverse characters and stories!

Do you wish to add something?
Just a big thank you to my team and everyone who has been watching and supporting Alert: Missing Persons Unit! It’s been an amazing journey, and I hope you continue to enjoy what’s coming next.
