Hi Kumar, I am very happy to do this interview.

Could you introduce yourself to the visitors of cinema-movietheater.com?

Hello I am a Mumbai based screen actor and have in the past worked on the stage.

What do you like when you read the script? And what did you think when you discovered your character?
I first and foremost look at the writer and director behind the script. It’s important for me to know the thematic content of the story.
When I read the script of ‘Aap Jaisa Koi’ the first thing that attracted me was the contemporary theme which resided in the story.
However, my part in the film was functionary and supporting. I had never shot in Kolkata and that alone attracted me to take it up.

How did you prepare for your role?
Since I was born in a Bengali family, it was not too difficult to explore the nuances that was required of the character.

How was the shooting with Madhavan, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Manish Chaudhari .......... and the director Vivek Soni?

The leads and the rest of the cast are all professional screen actors and some of them came from years of experience from the stage. I must mention Anubha Fatehpuria who heads Padatik Theatre in Kolkata. Saheb Chatterji who is a singer and also an actor.

Before I signed on I went and met Vivek Soni whose work I had seen earlier nevertheless I wanted him to speak on the script that he was going to embark with an ensemble cast. I found him endearing as a filmmaker and took it on.
