Exclusive interview with Natasha Burnett,  English Actress, Producer and  Singer

Hi Natasha, I am very happy to do this interview.
 

Could you introduce yourself to the visitors of cinema-movietheater.com?
I’m Natasha Burnett, a British actress and singer that played Grace Westin in season 2 episode 7 of Tracker. 

What do you like when you read the script?
I liked the elevated stakes, quick pace and the slightly darker tone in the script. Having a child and dog as part of the scene I was also looking forward to. 

And what did you think when you discovered your character Grace Westin (S02 .  E07)?
I really liked Grace’s character.
I always enjoy exploring different styles of character and these were very emotional scenes, which allowed me to push the character to the limits and play around with it. 
 

Can you tell us how you got your role?
I auditioned via self tape and was fortunate to be offered the role. 

How did you prepare for your role?
This role was highly emotional, so I try not to over prepare and get stuck in choices beforehand.
I like going to set and being open to what the other actors are doing in the scene and creating the moment with them. Most of the day on set was spent conserving my energy as these scenes can be quite tiring. 
 

How was the shooting with Justin Hartley, Aiden Stoxx ..........and the director Ben Hernandez Bray?
This was my first time working with Justin. He was really nice and quite relaxed, always making sure we were comfortable with the rope ties and tape etc.
It was great to have my scenes with him. 
Aiden was wonderful to work with. Such a talented young actor.
He gave a lot in the scenes and I had fun between takes with him and his mum. 
Ben was a fantastic director.
The scenes never felt rushed and he was great at communicating what he wanted. 

Where is this TV serie shot? 
In Vancouver and the surrounding areas
 

Do you watch yourself, during the TV broadcast?

I do, sometimes. I did with this episode, as my family wanted to watch it. 

When and why did you choose to become an actress? Is it a film, an actress.........?
I knew I wanted to be in the industry from a young age. It was always in my family, as my uncle was the Guyanese actor Norman Beaton.

We always would watch his show ‘Desmond’s’, so as soon as I finished school, I knew I wanted to immerse myself in the industry, and figure out what I enjoyed. 

What is your next challenge / project?
My next project is a horror movie called Twisted Game, set to air early next year.
